Produce Here – 50% Grant for Manufacturing SMEs
The “Produce Here” scheme is expected to support existing manufacturing SMEs across Greece with a 50% grant for investments that increase production capacity, strengthen competitiveness, and expand export orientation. Goal: more Greek, high-demand products for domestic and international markets.
Who can apply
Existing very small, small, and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (and related sectors) that:
- Have at least two full financial years before application.
- Operate substantially in eligible NACE codes (primary or highest-revenue activity).
- Employ ≥1 Annual Work Unit (AWU) in the year prior to application.
- Cover ≥50% private participation in the investment.
- Invest within a single Greek Region and operate legally as commercial/corporate entities.
- Comply with the de minimis Regulation.
What is funded (indicative)
Production & machinery equipment; technology upgrades & automation; R&D for products/processes; standards/certifications; design, branding & packaging; IP, patents & technology transfer; consulting; software development/use; promotion, trade fairs; payroll for new specialized staff; indirect costs.
Budget, aid intensity, duration
- Minimum eligible budget: €100,000
- Maximum eligible budget: €400,000
- Maximum public funding per project: €200,000
- Aid intensity: 50%
- Project duration: up to 24 months from the date of the Decision Approving the Evaluation Results
